side of this kitchen ceiling is 5' - 9 1/2" above the countertop. the bottom of the pendant is 6' - 2" above the floor and inset from the counter by at least 9 inches. Our clients are not tall enough to hit their heads on them.
Apologies, I thought I was responding to a different kitchen. These are

tile similar to the ones in this picture. My kitchen cabinets are 23 years old. I still love them. They are cherry. they need some sprucing up and a knob change. My problem is that the old handles are huge, colonial type which have left an outline on the doors and drawers. The cabinet finisher indicated
not get the entire line to fade and indicated the only way to solve this is to use a backplate with a handle or knob on top. My concern is that the kitchen looks very sleek andI think the backplate with knob/handle will look to big. I did not want to completely refinish the doors on my cabinets.any s

from the photo exactly what is going on, but I love the look. I'm contemplating doing something similar in a bedroom where we need to let light in but obscure a less-than-stellar view.
been unsucessful in finding where I can purchase them. Is there a website that sells these tiles? thank you so much, your design is beautiful!
decided on soapstone for our kitchen - charcoal grey. We also love the color of these tiles and how they are in the chevron style. Would these tiles look too busy with soapstone?
what fabric is on the chairs and whre did you get the chairs Thank you...the kitchen is lovely
gorgeous kitchen! what material is the counter top??
I've done many kitchens with this treatment. I would either run the countertop right into the window sill, or build a window well out of the countertop around each window

Little dinning area within the kitchen
9-foot-high freestanding closet once divided the kitchen from the dining room; the ceilings are 11 feet, 3 inches high, so it just floated oddly and clunked up the space. Russell’s intervention united the rooms into one pleasing space that now has an eat-in kitchen that also serves as a formal dining area.

Good idea for wine cellar off kitchen
Nice wine rack and glass doors to kitchen
Dressed in white, this small kitchen is a perfect companion to a glass-enclosed wine storage area. If you are not able to have an entire kitchen setup, at least consider a small countertop and sink area. It will make the whole space more functional and enjoyable.

What is this room - a butler's pantry? is it off of the kitchen? I love the style/design.
Does anyone know where you can purchase the rug in this photo
The cabinets are custom designed and built by Witt Construction.
It is Custom Cabinetry designed and built by Witt Construction, Inc. The dimensions are: cabinets & counter - 4.5' wide by 1.5' deep, the cabinet on the end - approximately 2.5' wide. I hope this helps!
Try http://www.topknobs.com/KitchenKnobs.aspx Your best bet is to go to your local hardware supplier and view them in person so you can see exactly how they look and more importantly how they feel. That lemonade is making me thirsty! :) Rhoda
IdeabookEmail Photo 6. Cup pulls. Cup-style drawer pulls, such as those that might have been found in an old-fashioned general store, lend an extra dash of period flavor to cottage kitchens. Choose a finish with patina, such as oil-rubbed bronze or brushed nickel.
