cattle feed troughs and water troughs done this way. There's different sizes, won't have to worry about sharp edges. In this area we have Scruggs tractor supplies that would have these.

wall and feeds the stainless steel trough (so water never sits or runs along concrete). Without using a steel trough, I would recommend adding a water proofing agent to the concrete.
