This garden renovation was previously a blighted construction site. Three terrace levels were manipulated on a tricky, compact site. Linear strips of Isotoma were planted to create a living rug and visual interest for the deck viewing above. A spa was set into an Ipe deck. PHoto credit: Meg Messina
yes, there is a secret door made of ipe, on the downhill side of the spa. The second boxwood on the downhill portion of the spa is planted still in its can, so it is easy to pull out of the way if one requires access.
