Home Improvement Professionals
Houzz is a free directory of home improvement professionals- architects, designers, contractors and others.
Professionals can create their profile on the site and upload photos of spaces that they have designed or built. We welcome professionals to upload their photos and some information about themselves, so that homeowners can find you.
We aim to maintain the positioning of the site around high quality design and architecture, and reserve the right to exclude things if necessary.
How do I add myself as a professional to the Houzz directory?
- Go to the professionals tab on the main menu.
- Then, click on the "get listed here for free" link on the right.
How do I edit my professional profile?
- Go to the professionals tab on the main menu
- Search for your company name and click on it.
- Then, click on "edit professional" underneath the company address information.
- If you do not see the "edit professional" link then you are not set as the administrative owner of the professional profile. In that case, please contact us at
to resolve the issue.
How do I swap a photo out for a better version?
- Go to the professionals tab on the main menu
- Search for your company name and click on it.
- Click the "edit" button below the image (this option appears for photos for which you are the administrator).
- Scroll down to the "Add or replace images" section. Next to the photo that you wish to replace, click "browse" and locate the image version on your hard drive that you wish to upload.
- Scroll down and click on the "upload" button to start uploading the photo.
How do I delete a photo?
- Go to the professionals tab on the main menu
- Search for your company name and click on it.
- Click the "edit" button below the image (this option appears for photos for which you are the administrator).
- Click on "delete space" link on the top right.
How do I add a credit for a photographer on one of my photos?
- Go to the professionals tab on the main menu
- Search for your company name and click on it.
- Click the "edit" button below the image (this option appears for photos for which you are the administrator).
- Add the credit in the "comments" section.
- Scroll down and click on the "upload" button to save your changes.
