this kitchen shines, like it. I like dining inside kitchen and I am not a fan of seating in row, so I rather a dining table, but my kitchen is 4 meters (13 feet) width only
to go with L shape cabinets and dining with chairs, I am concerned about aisle 2 aisles: 1)Between the dining and empty wall, this aisle will has the traffic to the living room 2)Between the dining and pantry I would like to know how much minimums would be enough for both. Do you think using bench instead

local in Portland, Oregon I would recommend Oregon Tile and Marble. It is a limestone and commonly is called Seagrass. I do not recall the exact specifications of the floor tile, but it was either 5/8" squares or 1" squares. It comes on a 12x12 mosiac mesh.

love the glass blocks and was wondering if silhouettes were visible from inside?
Hello, we were thinking about the glass blocks in the bathroom to bring light in with privacy and was wondering about silhouettes especially at night. Any thoughts will be appreciated. thank you
types of glass block out there, and yes, many of them will provide a silhouette however they tend to distort which can be a plus in this type of situation. Try going to a supplier and choose several of them to see how they affect light at night.

Large glass doors with a curbless transition to the outdoors in combination with a skylight and back-painted glass the color of water and sky create an experience that's like showering out in the open. A very free feeling and one that requires a secluded location.

Modern is Modern Again in Portola Valley
replacing it with a new dining room open to the remodeled living room and kitchen. We added a new office and deck above the new dining room and replaced all of the exterior windows, mostly with oversized sliding aluminum doors by Fleetwood to open the house up to the wooded hillside setting. Stainless steel
sliding doors open more than 50 feet above the ground below. We replaced the wood siding with stucco in varying tones of gray, white and black, creating new exterior lines, massing and proportions. We also created a new master suite upstairs and remodeled the existing powder room. Architecture by Mark
