I'd like to know if you have any cost breakdown for the glass treads/metal stringers?
They are 1 1/2" laminated glass
Are the stair treads glass or acrylic?
Those stairs are 4' wide. To go to 6' the glass would need to become quite a bit thicker, like 2 1/2". Other than that, other elements could remain the same

Love that there's a contrast with the frosted glass! Very nice.
Very good design, same idea came to me; metallic frame more safe for floating stairs, better if you can hide it.
I like how the stairs are glass
Of course, these stairs are also ideal when there's an adjacent view and source of natural light. Even when the stair isn't all glass, light streams deep into the interior. Even a steel stringer, whether bent to form a ziggurat

Beautiful design! How thick is the glass?
use of glass for the stairs.,
Stairs that are a wood/stair laminate combo
Stair - stringer to ceiling joint and finish
Transparency can also be gained by a full glass wall, as in the case of this straight-run stair. Compare this stair with the first one in terms of the angle; I’m guessing this stair is easier on the leg muscles.

How is the glass fastened to the floor/ceiling, and how thick is the glass?
Hi, the glass is 1/2" thick tempered with decorative bolts through the glass to structure. The bolts and covers are by CR Lawrence.
I like the glass enclosure and the wood on the wall color, it makes it look like a design on the wall.

Glass panel from ceiling to Floor
And these stairs are a work of art, aren't they? They appear so solid, but also get to the airy floating look.
