book-matched, but manages not to look too busy/messy, i.e., still modern/neat-looking. How was this achieved? What is the thought behind the way the grain is oriented? Is it horizontal on drawer fronts and vertical on door fronts? (Trying to get this modern look but not sure what to ask for.)
These cabinets are cherry with a clear finish. The grain runs horizontally on the drawers and crown, vertically on the doors.

Note: Cherry wood - not too dark of light, a finer grain that walnut, less dramatic grain.
