absolute granite turns chalky grey when honed?
We have consistently heard from granite sources that we should go with non-honed absolute if we don't want the "chalky" look, however, there are several examples on Houzz that show honed as a clean, dark, matte finish. We have been encouraged to use a different
honed granite allow rings to form? Or polished? I'm thinking of this in a powder room.
The finish that you see in the photo is actually "antiqued", where the granite is acid-etched and then buffed to create almost a distressed leather texture. I would say it almost looks like dark gray flannel. It's
