What is the clumpy dark green grass in the foreground, as well as the lighter green grass in the background (back by the hanging chairs)? Are these grasses full grown in this photo? Thank you and of course, nice work!
Blue Oat Grass and Mexican Feather grass, respectively.
The two grasses are drought tolerant so those mix well with natives or succulents.

The grass/concrete product is most likely GrassCrete: http://www.grasscrete.com/index.html It's a great product to offset an area of all concrete/asphalt.
