home with white trim. I want to paint the door and shutters a fun color. I am not a traditional gal and am looking for a way to modernize it a bit, without getting a letter from the homeowner's assocation :)

The house in now painted an earth brownish color which looks not so nice. I was thinking of painting the wood a warm dark grey color (charcoal or graphite grey) with white window trims. Do you think that this color scheme would work?

Are the island cabinets painted or are they a box color and if so would love to know either way and am looking to do an island very similar to this and LOVE IT!!!
We will have a rail system between the 2 upper cabinets. If I do a s/s rail can I use darker hinges and pulls? If so what would you recommend? The cabinets are a creamy white and the appliances are s/s.

a long and low headboard, think about bringing a vertical element into the space for height. These hanging glass bubbles are the perfect contrast to the long, flat line of the headboard.
Can you plz tell about the art work over the FP and the area rug
The wall that we are working with is 18.25 feet long and from floor to ceiling the height is 16".

fabrics and rug first, then select whatever chocolate or praline color works best with those. There are millions of paint colors, very few fabrics and rugs that would fit your needs for size/pattern scale/durability/color combination etc.
