“believe the ceiling height in this older home was 9 feet. We custom milled the crown molding to match the original and I think it was about 10 inches. The wainscot was about 5 feet. Just like fashion, its better to not have a 50/50 split.”
“sample of Gray Horse to test it out. I love it, but it feels a bit too saturated for our North facing room. Looks much lighter here but you do have lots of white. Wondering is this full strength or did you do a reduction? Beautiful room!”

“I see the dimensions posted for the beams. Can you tell me what the span of this particular beam is? Very nice”
“The "beams" are actually collar ties that keep the gable roof form tied together. They are double 2x10's wrapped with 3/4" thick A & Better Cedar boards that have been mitred the full length of the collar tie to mimic a solid beam. The finish outside dimensions are 6" wide x 11.25" tall.”

“Hello, I am not certain about the ceiling height, but we can mill one face of the hewn beams so they fit tightly against the sheetrock. For you ceiling, perhaps a height of 6" or 8" height would not make the room feel small.”
