completed in June 2013 I ended up using BM light pewter for walls, wainscoting and trim are BM white dove, floors are a rich deep brown with a tint of grey, the entry came out amazing. ( I also installed custom double front doors). thank you your inspiration!
Squares more modern in next room from thin moldings
Here they used the trim I like around the doors AND the have a crown molding.
Like the light cream color here, or when they show the wall panel at entries with a soft yellow. Yellow and creams look good transitioning into greys.

The crown molding against the ceiling
Hi, I am in the process of finishing my basement. I love your concept in this picture. I went to home depot to look at 2 x 2 kiln dried wood and its not the true 2x2 wood. The molding along the ceiling in your pictures looks larger
larger than what i've seen at home depot. Is your molding in this photo along the ceiling true 2x2 or 1.5x1.5???
to look dirty. The walls were intentionally bright white to counteract the dark ceiling and lack of natural light. The floor throughout was painted grey. Lighting is always critical in basements especially this one.

it looks like this and slighly more taupe look. I also used it in my living room which is north facing and less light. Amazingly has a slighly more grey look in that room. Works for us.

I've used white dove all over my house. It is pretty white with a gray undertone. These trims look like White Dove and the wall color looks like an off white/beige.
