i love this home!! can u tell me who makes this roof? is it 16"? thx
also, do you know the colour of this roof?
The roof is a standing seam, non combustile, preweathered "galvalume" standing seam metal roof. I don't have the color handy but hope this helps.

I think what you did with this house is great. We used galvalum on our roof. People aren't used to metal roofs where I'm at in Eastern Nebraska. I'd like to show you a couple of links of lights that would show this place off at night.
What can you tell me about the pros and cons of using Barnwood as siding? I love the look but what to make sure it is appropriate for our region. We live in central Oklahoma and probably have more humidity and bugs than in the Western states where I see this used more often. Any info is helpful. Thanks
and wood you just never know. If you have time you might consider building a full size mock-up of say a 4' wide and perhaps 6-8' tall with a bit of roof on top and observe it for the next 6-12 months and see how it holds up. Look for a company within 100-200 miles of your location and get their input

Glass House in the Garden
modern gas fireplace divides the living area with a polished concrete floor from the greenhouse with a gravel floor. The frame is painted steel with aluminum sliding glass door. The front features a green roof with native grasses and the rear is covered with a glass roof.
I would love to see more pictures of this space. I have a couple of questions... I know in my town structures like this could be considered living space or office space and frowned upon by local by laws etc. Did you encounter any building codes, stringent regulations or by laws before you built
heat. A green roof planted with native grasses mitigates solar heating in the living portion. Sliding glass doors open on both sides of the house, creating a comfortable cross breeze.

Barton Creek Residence Front Exterior
designing this home. The home is divided into four basic living zones: private owner’s suite, informal living area, kids area upstairs, and a flexible guest entertaining area. The entry is unique in that it takes you directly through to the outdoor living area, and also provides separation of the owners’ private
private suite from the rest of the home. There are no formal living or dining areas; instead the breakfast and family rooms were enlarged to entertain more comfortably in an informal manner. One great feature of the detached casita is that it has a lower activity area, which helps the house connect
This contemporary haven in Barton Creek is a beautiful example of a chic and elegant design that creates a very practical and informal space for living.

What gauge metal roof is this?
What color is this metal roof.
Do you know what color the roof and windows are? Also, paint colors for
front porch to add to lower level living...and there is something a little contemporary v. lowcountry that works.

Would you mind telling me the window brand and color please? I really love that they are green as well. Thank you in advance.
Do you have dark brown metal roof
Well, this is an "Englert Kynar Ultra-Cool Low Gloss" metal roof in a Medium Bronze finish.
Perfect color scheme -- gray shingles, tin roof and teal trim.

Classic Shingle Style House
What color is the roof and metal accents
JB Murphy, The roof actually isn't red. It is standing seam copper. But when doing colored standing seam metal roofs, we prefer to use PAC-CLAD, in which the Colonial Red is a nice red (http://www.pac-clad.com/color-availability-chart/). Firestone also makes a nice standing seam roof. Hope this helps
Brick, shingles and red metal roofs are a guaranteed winner !
