Can you tell me the size of the pickets, rails and posts?
I speak from experience here. I put a PVC picket fence around a quarter acre back yard about 10 years ago. It is fantastic. I hired a fence company to install it. They dug each hole separately
I like this for railing around my front deck and back deck.
Nice way to show greens while walking nearbye

like they can just walk onto your property. Aim for a slightly open and friendly feel, as tall fences say, "Keep out." Choose classic white pickets, rustic split-rail fencing or contemporary horizontal board fencing — just make sure to choose a style that sets off the architecture of your home.

The white picket fence in front adds to appeal.
Shape similar to our house. Like posts & railing, could arch wood between posts on top. Bases could be siding or stone faced.

Front porch off of living room
My house is 100 years old. I am looking to maintain the current railing that is 1 and 3/4 by 3/4 rectangular shape in wood or pvc any ideas? Thank you
I love everything about this. What is the exact color of the siding as well as the trim/railing color? Also, is that hardi-board siding?
or has them in the new color chips, but they will still mix them. The natural wood doors and rails are stained with Pecan, and sealed with a tung oil product. Most of the ext. trim is BM 1523 Embassy Green. Porch ceilings are BM 2140-40 Storm Cloud Gray.
Most of the exterior trim on this house is Embassy Green #1523 from Benjamin Moore.
Like the rail and spindles (change to white)

The privacy fence and picket were designed to reflect an urban skyline. The balustrade is custom cypress and is designed in the custom of Key West style homes, demonstrating the
exterior paint is SW Duration. There are two green colors. The lower color is bolder and the upper color is more subdued. I built this in 2008 and I did not keep digital records of finish but I think the lower color was Celery.
What brand and color is the green?
