'Cottage Cubed' - remodel of a 25sqm fishermans cottage. A large plywood cube of storage was constructed. The top of which is a sleeping platform. The faces of the cube are the stiarcase and kitchen. The interior of the cube contains a bathroom and utility. Cottage Cubed was completed in 2012 by DMVF

Hi, the "tiles" are cut from standard 48"x96"x3/4" maple veneer plywood sheets, into roughly 32" long x 12" wide strips, with about an 1/8" reveal between tiles. They are finish nailed to a 1/2" plywood attached to the wall framing. The finish is an oil-based whitewash. Thanks, J
