This is my kind of porch.
pairs, trios or an even larger group. This line of crisp black lights coordinates with the black trim, white board-and-batten siding and farmhouse porch feel.

the gray-green colour on porch. May I ask what it is?
I have to save this photo for inspiration for next summer. What is the roll shade made of? How do you fasten it in a storm? It's just a lovely modest and, therefore, inspirational porch.
Upon second look, that is not a shade, but part of the porch. I think a shade would be cozy!
Hi Pauli the exterior colour is Benjamin Moore HC 103 Cromwell Gray and the porch trim is Gettysburg Gray HC107 glad you like it!
This is how painting the porch the same color of the house can look

where you can appreciate them daily. Try a combination of hanging pots and planters set on tables and on the ground to make the most of the space. No porch? Install a window box and you will be able to enjoy the view of flowers from indoors as well.More:Ingredients of a Beautifully Wild BouquetTables Set

Love the tone of this front porch. Wondering how the floor was stained/finished? Almost looks like a wash on top of the stain?
Please share how you achieved the look on the porch floor. Is this Ipe? How was it finished. Thanks!
Where can I get the porch swing?
I love the swing! I think swings make any porch better! You probably still have plenty of room for some chairs & a side table between them. Put a flowering plant on the table. Ferns are great too. I would hang them between each porch post. Also add a nice welcome rug. If you want to do something
something with a little more drama, there are several articles on this site about painting porch ceilings blue. It would look nice on your porch.

Gerald - I know you answered this before, but I cannot seem to find it in the thread - I am a newby. Can you tell me width and height of that porch door again? Can you take those screens out ? I have emailed that porch picture to all my seaside
This is a nice sized, cozy porch only 8 feet deep. I think we build our porches too deep these days.

Found my porch...or at least one of them
Love the screened porch very cozy
Would love this on our porch
Napworthy porch. A covered porch is the perfect place for napping — the fresh air and gentle breeze soothe, but the roof is there to protect you if a sudden shower springs up while you snooze. Any daybed makes a fine napping spot, but I think the rocking motion of a hanging bed is especially restful

Questions3
Why not convert a porch like this into a 3 ½ season screen porch?
The Amazing EZ-Screen Porch Windows would keep this porch as clean as the day it was built. All the while extending the time the owner would be able to use this new found room. www.ezporch.com
Where is this porch located and how
I am 59 years of age. I plan to have a lake house porch (and the lake house to go with it!) by the time I turn 62. I am very interested in anything and anyone who can help me find the right one. I am also a published writer and am happy to discuss writing projects.

Questions4
This is a wonderful use of the porch. Are there also screens on the windows?
Like enclosed porch idea not particularly this look
front porch of our cabin is never utilized. Sun Porch is awesome. Is this space just screened or does it have windows too?
ideal porch, by all means, go more primitive. This charmingly rustic porch and its coordinating twig furniture create a comfy picnic atmosphere where you can pretend you're roughing it — you know, like MBAs on a dude ranch.
This porch is a bit more rugged Western style, with large timbers overhead, log walls, and antlers as an accent. Even the dining chairs look like they were hewn from sturdy trees from around the property.
