recommend this application with your experience with hardi shakes..and what about the hardi look alike shakes we have been approached on? Any comment?

I am looking at Sherwin Williams semi transparent stain for the shakes..would you recommend
question about the shakes. We don't have experience using the Sherwin Williams transparent stain. It all about "the look" regarding the shakes.
