Extra thick wall. The contractor and drywaller made this happen. Not easy and I can't take credit for figuring out how to do this.

We currently have a very old and cracked concrete driveway and are in the process of a major renovation project which will allow us to replace the driveway. We love the look of concrete but have been told it's expensive and not practical for the weather conditions
are being laid to keep out grass and weeds. Ask your installer about this. It's like sand, but has an adhesive which is brushed into the cracks and then dampened to form a more impermeable crack. We did it after the fact, since our pavers were done before the product came out, and after several years

Thank you for your nice comment. The table was made with the legs of an old table and a pre-cut piece of wood counter from Ikea (26"x60"). The chairs are also from Ikea, but we bought them more then 20 years ago

what kind of material is the side rail made of i am loving the design
the wood intact. A lot of people use this wood for decking, it's just more expensive, but extremely durable. You can see we also used it at the front door entry which is in another photo on the posting. Thanks for the question!
