Paint color - what is the paint color in this photo? Thanks.
I always use white fixtures, never biscuit. With a short ceiling, paint the walls and ceiling the same color, and use a pale paint--nothing too strong. I can't speak to the specifics of your project without seeing it. Best of luck!

If you had to choose top up or bottom down fabric shade without the option to do both, which would you recommend and why. Thank you!
information on hand, because the homeowners worked with an interior designer on choosing the finishings and hardware, but I will see what I can find out!
yes, it does help very much actually! I now at least have an idea & a starting point. thanks again
Those shades usually work both ways but if you have to choose one it might depend on the view. Lowering the top allows light to come in and a view of the sky or trees but can block the view of the next door neighbor’s house and provide privacy. It also may depend on the way the window opens.
over the window, it's just the white part that is the shade that can go from either direction. I guess it's hard to see the differentiation. Hope that helps!
