floor tiles ceramic or marble? If marble, what type? Are they 3"?
What tile was used for the wainscoting?
Marble tile available in 2x2" Hexagon (pictured below) for $10.95 a square foot: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/cmh-2x2-hex.html And then there is also the option of a 1x1" Hexagon for perhaps a shower floor (more grout = less chance of slipping) but keeping the same look. Again pictured below for $9

floor tiles? It's lovely! I have purchased 1" glossy hex tiles for my bathroom reno, but I am not sure which grey colour to go with...I was thinking Warm Gray by Mapei but not sure how light it actually dries. Thanks! Rhea

Thanks to Benjamin Moore, original wall and floor tile and our great photographer Bradley M Jones! The original ceramic wall and floor tiles (1908) had a beautiful soft off white color. We selected Benjamin Moore color #OC-13
ceramic hexagon. To simulate this grout color, use a soft,warm gray.

It is a 1" Carrara Hexagon marble mosaic. Lots of online retailers sell this product. This is similar to our Carrara Venato 1" Hexagon $10.95 a square foot. Great value and the grout add anti-slip to the bathroom floor.

penny tile counter to make it smooth?
Love the vanity. How did you make it? Is it wood, tiled and cut to fit sinks then anchored to the wall?
They are hexagonal tiles rather than penny tiles, so they can be cut down to get the right dimensions to minimize gaps around the edges. It's tedious, but worth it!

from The Tile Shop. I think they still carry it in black, white, and grey.

It is actually very non-slippy. The grout between the tiles creates a lot more traction that 12x12"
