less space than regular ones, and can add more storage space. We’re nuts over this folding door surprise – who would have thought that a laundry system would be hidden inside? The folding doors not only allow for easy access, but they lend visual appeal by appearing very much like an inconspicuous wall
front-loader washing machineThese have gained popularity over recent years for a good reason. They’re a super-easy way to save a lot of water in the laundry (which accounts for 15-20 per cent of water usage in the home). Look for styles or brands with an efficiency rating of four stars or more. Front-loaders

The upper cabinets are 15" deep. A laundry room cabinet's typical depth would be between 15" - 18" to accommodate for laundry products. The bottom cabinets range from 27" - 30" in depth depending on the size of the appliances.

I am thinking about combining the laundry room with a living space but I am concerned about the noise factor? Any thoughts please?
We have used this idea in our pantry/ laundry area. How do you get a tray to it
Sunnyeggs: I was the designer on this project. There was a very old utility sink in the opposite corner from this laundry area. We remodeled that in to a full bathroom and eliminated the laundry sink. You can see that in the other photos for this project.
