chose red as an accent color to add a special holiday touch to our everyday look. For the island centerpiece, I put pieces of freshly cut pine branches around a vintage enamel pail filled with collected pinecones. Above the hood hangs a red holly wreath tied with a handmade burlap ribbon. Tip: To create
create a burlap ribbon for your own natural wreath, simply cut a narrow piece of burlap, which you can purchase at your local crafts store, and sew it on the sides to prevent fraying.
3. List your favorite and least favorite things about the holidays. What is most meaningful and fulfilling to you
schedule and given top priority, and letting go of things that you don't really care for, you can tailor your holidays to suit you. I had an idea that I would design my own family photo holiday cards, but I realized I would rather spend my time sipping cocoa by the tree, so I'm skipping it. No one else

Where did you buy these wreaths and door hangers.
Simple green wreath will pop against our blue front door.
Simple boxwood wreath, bow, bulb, hanger.
doors of the home were decorated with wreaths made from preserved boxwood. Simple but beautiful.
There's a modern simplicity to this pair of boxwood wreaths, simply adorned with a bell and brown ribbon. The green wreaths are stunning against the black doors.Tip: Here, the wreath hangers are the same
These wreaths make an immediate strong statement for one surprising reason: their lack of decorations. Yes, they have a single bow and a gold ornamental ball, but keeping the wreath free of ribbons, tinsel or ornaments allows the green to really pop against the outside door.

Seasonal decorations. There are some things that simply resist all attempts at purging. Holiday and other seasonal decorations fall smack into that category. Many small homes are also shy on storage

charming bucket of logs and wreath suit it well, while if you're near the beach, you may want something coastal.
1. Front door. A beautiful wreath welcomes the holiday season. Beginning in September wreaths can include anything from fall leaves to twigs and ribbon.See DIY wreath tutorials
Hang a wreath all year round. Think of how wonderful and welcoming a wreath makes a house look during the winter holidays — now, wouldn’t it be fantastic to have that added appeal all year? Gather up some interesting twigs, vines, berries and foliage and take a wreath-making workshop so that
that you can craft your own. I promise these classes are really fun, and wreath making is a great skill to have.See the rest of this home
