This job was a remodel and the home already had the brick on the floor so we do not know.

Good idea to have 2nd fridge or freezer in mud room
I love the washer and dryer tucked under the granite and I love the idea of having a second fridge downstairs
What a great idea (fridge in laundry instead of garage). Laundry baskets UNDER counter. Small utility sink. Lots of counter top space.
Refrigerator. Many homes have a second refrigerator in the garage, but these homeowners put one in the laundry room. Building it into the wall helped save space. Tip: If you're not ready to go that far, a mini fridge (no built-in necessary) could still help you store extra beverages.

Our clients wanted to finish the walkout basement in their 10-year old home. They were looking for a family room, craft area, bathroom and a space to transform into a “guest room” for the occasional visitor. They wanted a space that could handle a crowd of young children, provide lots of storage and
juliaexton- I think you may be happy with going to Costco or Home Depot. They have HUSKY work bench style cabinets with bamboo surfaces and they are on casters. Perhaps you could use one to fit your needs.

I can't see the artwork very well but I love the colors against the wall color. Any idea where the artwork is from?
I just moved into a home with nasty colored walls. I repainted the whole house a gray color thinking it would make it look more clean and fresh, it kind of looks baby blue on
Take a look here http://edezeen.com/categories/home-furniture.html?cat=1062 for armchairs and here http://edezeen.com/categories/home-furniture.html?cat=1063 for sofas. I think you can find similar models. Good luck!
I figured. I'll have to keep looking for LR furniture/ideas then. Thanks for the help, all.

Caruth Home - Fall 2012/Winter 2013
What climate or planting zone is this house located in. Would like to use some of these planting ideas in my Northern Ohio home.
design was done by Jason Osterberger Designs, and as such we wouldn't be able to answer questions about the individual plant hardiness. However, this home is located in Dallas, TX where the average minimum temp extreme is 10 to 15 degrees F, as compared to Northern Ohio extreme of -10 to - 15 degrees F

complete re-cladding of the house. Interior: The prototypical layout of the split level home tends to separate the entrance, and any other associated space, from the rest of the living spaces one half level up. In this home the lower level "living" room off the entry was physically isolated from the dining

The rear of the home was blocked off from views due to small windows, and had a difficult to use multi leveled deck. The owners requested an updated treatment of the entry
