The ships and photos are cool
Looks like the home of a collector! What caught my eye is the group of three model sailboats — the minimum number of objects to make a collection — on this console table. The table raises them up just high enough to be visible anywhere in the living room. Tip: Use an odd number of objects and vary
Take your collection to the coast. A seaside home is one of my favorite places to use blue-and-white porcelain, as it ties in beautifully with a nautical color palette. To keep it from looking too formal

like items together so they're easy to find. For Chris Carey from Just a Girl, the garage in her Michigan home was a tricky space because it's also the primary way that most people use to enter the home. She decided that even though it was a garage, it didn't necessarily have to look like one. A few coats

Wondering where the metal roofing came from on this house...specifically company and color. We are building a farmhouse looking home and it will have some metal roofs. I like the color and look of this one.
Lovely home, what color are the window shutters? Thank you!
What a gorgeous home! It is lovely inside and out.
You can see the floor plan in this article. http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/photos/0,,20678046,00.html
Hello, I am sorry, our homes are custom designs created to specifically integrate our client's programmatic requirement with their
great looking house. LIke the colors, the metal roof. Siding could be of hardie planks. Like the interior photos very much as well
Charming old homes come with their own host of maintenance issues, but they make up for it in appeal. This house had a lot of problems typical of an older home, including water in the basement; Smith and her client went to great lengths to preserve the antique home. "The client came to me to help her

Its quite difficult to tell in this photo. Do you have a better photo by any chance?
I had that rug, it's made by Shaw. The color is called Ocean. There are two different designs of rug that come in this color. I bought mine four yrs ago so I can't remember the rug name. Hopefully you can find it by going to their website

OK-- this may work well- inlaid veneer accent in a thinner pilaster center panel - can also be used on doors - as in your original door design--

Need to see the layout of this beautiful home

Saw the Google Earth picture during the remodel. What an absolutely beautiful home. How old is the home?
Not so much the photo but the concept of sticking to a budget
Not sure how applies; obviously very ornate relative to our home. But like the traditional yet urban feel of this.
1. Identify the project. Will it be a new home, an addition to your existing home, a kitchen or bath remodel or some combination of these? Each has its own budgeting method. While a simple "per square foot" cost may work for a new construction project, it definitely won't work for kitchen and bath
bath remodels. And for something like an addition or renovation to a historic home, toss out any sort of cost guidelines. The best approach to establishing a budget for projects like these is to talk to professionals with experience.

Where do the doors lead in this room design please? Thanks!
Beautiful. Where is this home? I LOVE the outdoors......but my "contradiction" is PRIVACY (particularly at night). Comments regarding this issue on this design would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. It's gorgeous.
Thank you very much for the information which I hope to use in the home we are building.
be privacy.....I know there are ways to address this. Wonder how it is addressed in this design. I'm not a DRAPERY person (at all); gave them up in the 80s. I lived in FL for a while and was blessed with a home that was ALL PLANTATION shutters - which was fine. But if I could KEEP THE TOTAL view and
