make sure your underbed storage boxes are recessed a couple inches on the sides, or making the bed can be painful on your big toe.

I love the side tables in the white bedroom! Doors behind the tables, with the sconces hanging from the doors.

If the house already has a septic tank then why not use a traditional toilet. If you make too much for the tank to handle you can always have it pumped. I doubt two people would fill up a septic tank that quickly.
Cute house. We sometimes accumulate too much stuff, I may have to trying living like this guy!!!

Thanks again Becky. To me one of the most enjoyable parts about Houzz are the stories, which are written very well, about the families and the process of the design. Each is personal and different and pulls together the WHY of the design. This home seems to be all about the owners specialty of buying unusual, artistic and personal objects and creating a beautiful space which shows who they are and parts of their past. The lamps are amazing and add a contemporary Western look and it is a joy to be able to buy local artist's work of which New Mexico has an abundance. Suspect this family will have many years of enjoyment living in this home. Also, please keep up the animal trend. Most of us have animals which are part of our families and I for one, enjoy seeing other people's loved pets as part of the home and the article.

You had me at the home made lamps. All the art and collected pieces are great. And the cat is just too cute.
