The glass is a clear antique glass. It doesn't really provide much privacy, these homeowners just happen to be on a secluded street that sees very little traffic.

Thanks so much, it was designed by a Karr Bick Designer and a very talented homeowner with great taste. the is land is black and the rest is driftwood even though it doesn't look like it in the picture
I am not sure, the homeowner bought them but I believe they came from frontgate
actually appears to be polished based on the high level of reflection from the surface. Generally, you can go either way for a countertop and it's the homeowners personal preference, but polished tends to have a nicer look.
