Hi! Handcrafted Metal makes a variety of custom zinc hoods in this style, although we can't take credit for this particular hood. We call this style "Sweep Front". Below are some pictures of a similar range hood that also features zinc straps and rivets
views of this hood on the page for it on our website: http://handcraftedmetal.com/Sweep_Front-Zinc-Hoods-5150.html On our website you can also see a variety of other custom range hoods. We can make them out of copper, zinc, pewter, bronze, and stainless steel. Here's a link to our hoods page: http

This was a fun one to design. This hood was 72" wide x 24" height. Depth was approximately 23"
We are considering a wide hood over a 48" Wolfe Range. The custom hood is designed to be 80" wide. We are thinking they may dwarf the range. If this custom hood is 66" wide, how big are the drawers

This hood measures 21" deep from the front of the mantel to the wall. In addition to the depth, you also need to consider the height off of the cook surface

Questions13
would you source a hood like this?
is the hood wood or metal?
Do you know the distance between the cooktop and bottom of hood? Thank you.
fact that standard distance between counter and cabinet is generally 18" ...visually it looks about 14" bottom of cab to bottom of hood. So I'm guessing 32" from counter to hood. Hope that helps you :) Lakeviewinteriordesign.com
If it's metal (and not a faux finish on wood) then I'd suggest checking out Vent-a-hood, Texas Lightsmith or Rangecraft

Range Hood -- what is the brand/model of the range hood?
I addition to the whole kitchen, this range hood is beautiful!
@klgaylor: this type of hood is usually custom-built, from wood, plaster, and other materials. The inside of the hood is typically an "insert", i.e. a fully-functional range hood without the outer casing, designed to be built into such an enclosure. Here's a gallery of range hood inserts, with examples

For example, a 1,000-CFM vent hood will suck the air from a 10-by-10-by-10 room in about a minute, then will lose suction unless you have an
