like how each kid has space to display their own stuff
shelves around the bed to save room
is also a perfect place for round paper lantern fixtures. By staggering the heights and using a variety of colors and sizes, one can achieve a look that's reminiscent of a playful bunch of balloons.

would like a counter over the entire thing. How is the counter top supported? Also do you think it is better to put the laminate over plywood or particle board. Thank-you.

inconvenient to have machines so far apart
if space was available I like this layout w/ plenty of folding space/ Something to consider
needs a hanging rod between the cabinets

A picture is worth a thousand words, but it's difficult to describe this exquisite basement in a photograph. Designed for a couple who are a party waiting to happen, this walkout basement was destined to be spectacular. Once a cold, blank slate of concrete, the basement is now an extraordinary multi

asked how you attached that to the ceiling? I was thinking of a woven material like some natural carpet material but I can't think of how to attach it properly. Thanks for any help you can offer. Tim

They really look like a wide plank pine floor. The lengths are nice too. There also seems to be a stain applied although I am not sure which one.

prior to finishing? I need to know!!! It's beautiful.
Can we do two upper wall cabinets like yours if we have an 8' ceiling instead of a 9' ceiling?
We love this kitchen and would like to use it as an inspiration for our own kitchen remodel. However, we have 8 foot ceilings instead of 9 foot
currently have a soffit above our cabinets and it looks a bit dated. Thank you!
similar to the ones here? If so, what would you recommend for the height of the base cabinets and the wall cabinets? Thank you.
wanted to have the hood be functional but blend into the cabinetry as you did here. Any brand in particular that worked well in this kitchen? Thanks, Liz Talley

Is that a tv above the fireplace? how did you build door/encase tv?
mirror adds to the room's decor, with the hidden TV and Entertainment Consoles beneath. See how EASY it really is: http://youtu.be/05bwMqaAS5Y
smart to make it mirror same one in adjoining room. Pocket doors for TV are beautiful and a clever approach.

I have to say this and I don't mean to offend anyone especially the designers but, I can't tell you how many times I have seen TV's plastered over the most beautiful fireplaces and to me it's..not cute..at all. At least hide them so that they don't spoil the designers exquisite work. There is nothing
about a TV screen I'm sorry..there just isn't.
How is the TV any more of a black hole than the fireplace? Do you hate the fireplace too? If not, why not? There are plenty of reasons not to put a TV above a fireplace, but it often is the only practical solution. You personally don't have to like it. But saying it ruins everything is like saying ketchup
ruins a hot dog. For some people it might, but you can hardly make that kind of generalization when the subject is so personal. Is this discussion pushing your buttons? I mean, you brought it up . . . were you expecting more people to jump on the bandwagon?
