there a set of plans for this arbor? If so how do I get a set?
I wish to build it in my Yard
confused with a pergola, an arbor is more like a passageway with a lattice. A pergola has posts and an open roof that can create an outdoor room.
Gravel path and simple garden arch
for walkway from carport to the
Driveway/gate entrance pergola to (path?)patio. Match side porch and back deck pergola styles to this to bring the architecture together.
arbors make such grand entrances to an informal garden!
confused with a pergola, this is an arbor, which is more like a passageway with trellises on the sides to let vines weave in and out.
5. Mark an entrance. Arbors make great focal points. As an alternative to traditional wood, which needs regular upkeep, look for structures made from a white composite material

find an arbor like this? Love it.
What is the vine on the arbor?
It is a Japanese Maple. I am uncertain of the variety but will look in to it for you. Bloodgood will have a burgundy color like that and are going have a more upright growth habit. Lace leaf Japanese Maples such as Crimson Queen will have the burgundy red color but their growth habit more of a weeping
bottom is a Azalea Kurume 'Hinodegiri'. Thank you for the comment!
I believe this arbor was a custom build. :)
Love to have this archway near end of driveway
l love arches that bring you into a garden

refer to the components (beams, joists, columns, rafters, footings) that hold up a building, it can also refer to the way a space is organized. Vinecovered walkway to bocce ball court would ROCK!
Would make a great photo in office
This is just cool; kinda got a fantasy novel feel to it.
A structure over the raised beds--to frame a springtime cover and to provide interest throughout the winter.

yard is a woodland garden, therefore I leave most, if not all wood surfaces in a natural state so as not to distract the eye from the feeling of being out in the forest. If you are trying to create a space with more energy or want a funkier style, go ahead and paint items such as chairs or tables with

Arbor with sitting area--also awesome for an arbor over a bridge
How welcomes the path. Not to much light. love the little bit of sunlight, and the shade.
A room within a room isn't just for the inside. Some simple lattice screening and greenery makes for a wonderfully intimate and restful way station in the great outdoors.More: Homes With Houses of Their OwnHow to Create a Nest at HomeCreating Nests in Unexpected Places

of the arbor and what type of wood did you use?
Love the garden! Was The arbor custom built?
The arbor and trellis was custom designed and custom built for the space.
Was the trellis prefabricated and added to the arbor? Was the arbor pre fabricated also? Then the two combined to make that beautiful effect? In summary are those pieces available for individual purchase somewhere?
How inviting!!! I just love this one too.
Love, Love , Love this arbor with its window to the next outdoor room. Allowing the arbor to double as a window and a screen, perfect!
intimate. As a secondary patio by the master bedroom, I can see the gravel playing a role--perhaps the patio disintegrating into it. I like the crunchy sound of gravel which makes me thing of being out in nature rather than on a patio.
