This bathroom is amazing. Question: how did you hang the mirror? Is it out from the wall over top of your wainscot, or did you have to modify the trim in some way to accommodate the mirror? Cheers.

We have used this idea in our pantry/ laundry area. How do you get a tray to it in here for leaks?
I'd like to do a cabinet similar to this; is the washer/dryer cabinet vented in anyway? I was looking at the spec requirements and they indicate venting is required e.g. a mesh or slats about the size of a air/heat register.

Daobrien: In addition to Case's response, that is a removable toe kick on the bottom of the cabinet (actually velcro'd on for easy access/maintenance.)

How did you seal the sandstone, what is the durability like, and how often reseal needed? Also stone resistance to scratches, dings, etc.
reinforce the stud wall behind the hood area with extra studs. I've also used a chain system that goes from the front of the mantle through the inside of the hood and lag bolts to the beefed up studs for extra support. The worst thing that could ever happen is for a hood to fall off the wall and crush someone
