A NEW PROJECT! Classic Seaside Shingle Style
Like the built-in unit and how it doesn't cover the windows yet still looks finished.
Built in seat with mirror over it for focal point on north view corridor from entry

Built ins with bench and tv. Love how it is all connected
The living room shows us how Watson combined her clients’ love of traditional style with a more relaxed beach vibe. They’re “not the casual slipcovered type, so we went for tailored pieces, like the wingback chairs and the tufted armchair,” she describes. Crisp white trim and a natural-fiber rug add

How did you edge the tub walls?
We are in the middle of a bathroom redo and tile goes in tomorrow. I'm using 12x24 for walls and floor and my hubby and I are split on how to lay tile; I want it stacked, he wants brick pattern. Can we stack walls and do brick on floor as compromise? Help is appreciated!
doing a 1/16th grout). The more I look at your picture, the more I realize that it completely matches our bathroom layout! Too funny. Love how you ran the mirror the length of the vanity. We decided on 2 smaller ones, over double sinks, but I really like this. Thank you!
consistency but you can switch it up however you want (after all it is your home). Keep in mind some certain tiles actually have recommendations on how to stack them based on the radiused or square edges and if they are bowed at all. So, just make sure you confirm with the tile supplier, and you should

Master Bathroom
piece of furniture - it's similar to a vanity/shelf/mirror piece that I saw in a little village in London! I'd love to see more of it, especially how the medicine cabinets are built in. I can provide an email if that's possible - If not, can you share how wide the vanity was and the size of the two cabinets
would you please tell me who and what the sconces are beside the bathroom mirror? thank you.
It is really lovely. So the cabinets were also made at the same time? Did you put mirrors behind the shelves or just wood? Thanks for the quick response - alexa

I'd like to know more about the hardware used in hanging these panels.
vintage, these can be installed in front of your windows for sturdy, decorative window treatments. Hang them from a decorative rod, like in this photo, or suspend them from the ceiling. Style tip: Hang wood panels on rods with wheels to move them away from the windows when you don't need privacy.
How cool is this? Laser-cut panels. This is a bold new take on the classic café curtain: laser-cut wood panels that slide over the windows to provide privacy and light control. Roll them onto the blank wall and they become art pieces.

Half Bath
Corrugated, galvanized sheet metal and mirrors make for a lively powder room.
Tin Shower Walls: How to prevent moisture problems?
Mr. Lym - I want to use corrugated tin like this in a Bath I'm doing, and use it in the shower. Have been told that moisture will get behind the tin and cause problems. How can this be done without worrying about moisture
I can't tell how the sheet is finished at the bottom. ?
how is the edge finished on the floor -- to keep dust from accumulating? thanks - well done.
I want to use a towel bar as a laundry line - would these do the trick? what kind are they and how are they mounted?
thanks -- that makes sense. I assumed the metal panel went all the way to the floor and couldn't envision how it was finished off. interesting maneuver!

In the 3 following pictures, you can see the "before" condition, an image of the tearout that gives a sense for how much space was recovered, and another view of the "after" result. I am not sure which order they will come up in, but I think it will be obvious. Thanks
What is room's ceiling height? I like how the tub's ceiling is lower.
