very unusual client design dilemma: how to put a vintage 1950s 12-metre trailer next to a river without having it swept away by a South Texas flash flooding. Hinman responded by lifting the 1954 Spartan Imperial Mansion trailer 1.5 metres above the flood plain – 9 metres above the river onto concrete piers

way you can hide things that aren't the prettiest to look at. Like your air conditioning. I have been looking into air conditioner montreal. Thank you so much for sharing this great picture and idea.
I'm also looking for attractive ways to hide the pipes
shed that keeps things up at eye level and out of sight. I always thought you'd have to put up a fence around your AC Unit and hope it doesn't look too ugly. This makes it interesting and fun to look at. Talk about a reversal!

Steel sculpture to hide pool equipment.
I do pose the problem to you that we have exsisting concrete and live in a high wind area (Inland Empire, CA). How could we brace these panels? I love this idea for my yard to hide the ugly pool equipment. Please tell me what to do.
Where can I purchase these? If made specifically for this house, what materials and how to make this look? Thank you, Wendy
How can colors be introduced to these panels? I love the warm yellows and caramels, but might like to add some greens
architect and/or engineeer. Every condition is unique and requires design. You would probably need to set the legs in a concrete footing or some kind. How wide and deep is hard to say from a distance, that's why you should ask the advise of someone who understands your local conditions.

Library--This simple wall of books with rolling ladder works well with the minimal architecture of the interior. Note how the empty shelf space seems to trickle down from top right to bottom left, indicating that even room for future books can be part of an interim design

how much space did you allow between the island and the counters/range? Thanks! Love your kitchen!
Love this kitchen! Can you tell me how thick the counters are?
The size of the countertop is similar to mine. Did you have to use 2 slabs (typical length is 4x10) (if so did you bookmark it and how did you deal with seams)? What is the countertop material (granite, quartzite or marble)? Thanks so much for any information!
Thank you for the nice words... very much appreciated. Your "bench" is 4 meters? Are you saying that your "island" is 4 meters long? The island in the photograph is 4' x 12' Here is the link for the lights in the photo http://stores.homestead.com
Many, many thanks to you Jason for such a detailed response. Greatly appreciated. Yes my island is 4 metres (I have 3 young boys who love their food & their space!!) so yes I agree that the larger cone will be perfect and I can source similar styles here
