Where was this gutter chain from?

I wonder how well they work in freezing conditions? I
Love the rain chains. Not sure it fits nor its function. Reminds me of life in japan.

hundreds of years ago, the kusari doi, or "chain gutter," is a simple way to carry rain to the ground in an aesthetically pleasing manner. The Japanese have used these chains on temples and homes over the years with the sole purpose of embracing the beauty of a rain-filled day.

The problem, as we all know too well, is that Texas is anything but average — our temperatures can easily soar into the 90s, and we can see May come and go without a drop of rain. So in areas
never been easier with hundreds of ideas circulating. Inside, consider installing low-energy lighting, replacing conventional taps with water-efficient fittings and only cleaning with natural products. Outside, think about installing a rainwater tank and growing your own herbs and vegetables.

chain for rain drainage and landscaping between the two sections
Going gutter free. Midcentury modern homes are usually defined by the lines of their roofs and beams, making gutters unwelcome details. Rain chains (preferably connected to dry wells or planting areas to keep water onsite) can be a handsome way to direct rainwater.

Is the chain attached to a rain gutter above leading to a drain?
how is the wood installed by the door? And what species?
How far apart are the concrete stepping stones? What is the gap size?
How did you prep the area before laying the stones?
how much money would this cost ruffle
Where can you buy those concrete rectangle pavers and how much?
Rain chains are actually very functional. The rain will drain down the chain, and into a receptacle. So yes, it does guide the rain water from the gutter to the ground. Then you can recycle the water in the receptacle
