key is to make sure the gravel is not too small. Some pea gravel or similar can be small enough to catch into the sole of shoes (especially sport / running shoes). Gazing balls. Also known as "yard globes," these mirrored spheres may seem somewhat strange to some. During the Victorian era, servants used the mirrored ball as a clever way to check on guests throughout their meals. Ever since I learned this, I've found them to be uniquely interesting.
But this ball still fits into the design seamlessly because it works as a visual extension of the pillar and the stairway. Instead of sticking out like a sore thumb in the middle of a vegetable garden, it creates a 360-degree view up the rock stairs and to the garden behind. What a wonderful way to begin
