Funny how it does not look yellow on the website, but it does have yellow undertones in your kitchen? This canopy was made for me. I purchased the fabric at Fabricland, and gave a friend (who sews) measurements and a drawing and she made it for me.

old thin curtain rod for the front (cut it to fit between the cupboards) and the top is velcro'd to a 1 x 1 piece of wood that is screwed to the window frame.

Possible way to make bedroom curtains
I like these curtains and how high they are hung
affordable curtain panels. Cut the darker-colored panel to a size that will add just enough drama (30 to 40 inches is my typical range, depending on the height of the panels), and sew the edges together. Use the extra fabric to add trim to the top of the panel, as shown here.
and can sew, buy readymade panels and add your own bands.

don’t sew, you can use iron-on hem tape to make quick no-sew curtains and tablecloths; if you do sew, it’s not too hard to turn out your own pillowcases and duvet covers. Get creative with other easy-to-find, cheap fabrics as well — burlap can cover bulletin boards, and muslin, typically used in pattern
