would like to know where you got the desk. Thanks. -
Does anyone know where I can find knobs (dresser pulls ) like the ones on this pink dresser.
I have this same antique dresser but I painted it pale pink for my daughter and am now about to paint it black because she wants a zebra print room. I've
identical to the ones in this picture. Have tried several replacements from target, home depot, loses and they are all too short Any ideas on where I can find antique handles. Thanks!
How did you get the look of the dresser?
How did you prepare the dresser before
perfect for and elegant yet fun way to satisfy her pink craving. May you be so kind as to tell me which shades of pink were used to create this look? Thank you! Erika

old dresser/desk, paint to match chair
A piece of furniture, brightly painted with a stone or composite top might make a cool vanity for the girl's sink.
A vintage desk set got a makeover with bold yellow paint and glass drawer pulls, making the perfect vanity for the upstairs bathroom. Classic subway tile and simple sconces keep the space light, bright and functional.Knobs: Pinch of the Past; chair cushion: Sunbrella; sconces: Circa Lighting
purchasing an older dressing table and painting it to fit your needs. If a matching chair isn't included in the deal, buy one that fits well with the table and paint it to match.

benefit to using unglazed? Is it just an aesthetic choice or do they also clean up better?
Yes, they are unglazed ceramic and they're offwhite/grayish, but considered white. We bought them at a Century Tile in Chicago.
according to the tag, it is a Town Square faucet by American Standard http://www
hanks for the info. i am in the midst of a rehab in chicago and was also wondering where you located the tile. i am having trouble finding unglazed ceramic that is closer to white/cream than beige.

appears to be similar in size to mine. I would like to see the rest. It looks like something I could do. What was the cost of the remodel and was it a total gutting or just refurbishing?
Looks Great!! What material did you use for the Bead-board Wainscoting
Is the vanity custom made or can it be bought somewhere - thanks
I absolutely love the floors, and am thinking about doing the same for my bathrooms. In all honesty though, are they a pain-in-the-neck to keep clean? Do I need to be committed to sweeping/mopping them every day
why put a lamp near a sink--electrical issues, esp. w/wet hands & children's bathroom?
Is there a bath tub,if so what is used for the surround? Love the bathroom!
Is it possible for your contractor build another vanity? It's so BEAUTIFUL!! LOVE IT.

accent was used to create the effect on the wall? and how was it done?
Where would I find the vanity to purchase?
light on vanity and around bath tub
how does that tub get plumed in
This is a white claw foot tub.
This is venetial plaster on the walls. Water proof and old world in appearance.
This was custom designed for the homeowner using an old dresser.
This is venetian plaster - it's a custom blend. Our painting
Stone is a similar wall color.
These walls are done in what appears to be Venetian Plaster, but Valspar's Lyndhurst Stone is a similar color.
