It is Hydrangea m. 'Endless Summer'. This picture was taken a little early in their season. When they are in full bloom, they are truly spectacular (huge pink snowballs).

Too much patern - looks like bad hair transplant job. Hydrangeas too formal for my taste - although an oakleaf variety would be ok.
gorgeous hydrangeas steal the show, but their lushness is supported by the strictly oriented surroundings.

They are hydrangeas - you must control the soil to keep them blue/puple. Adding aluminum accomplishes this.
