Blooms of Color!
I would like to know what all of the plants are in this picture.
Is this on a slope and what kind of soil do these plants like? Thank you Edith Bond
these plants especially the yellow yucca, but we are in zone 5A
It's a slope indeed. All plants enjoy well drained soil, and a frost free environment. Some of the heavy hitters of this composition are Yucca 'bright star', Senecio,Leucadendron 'Pisa', and kniphofia thompsonii.
planting = suck + space + chips + stone
Great plantings with out thorns, but low water and will handle heat and sun.

What a these plants and what care and climate do they need
These plants do best in well-drained soil with full sun. This project is in Minneapolis, MN which is zone 4 (usda hardiness)

i like colorful low water use plants
A sequence of plants and architecture is visually pleasing to the eyes, which read it as a pattern. Here, a maroon, spiky Cordyline plant is aligned with a fence section in a rhythmic repetition that looks contemporary and balanced. Put three of them together for a thoroughly appealing
summerWhen to plant: Plant in spring to establish before winterThe straight species of Cordyline australis has green foliage and can reach massive sizes. Colorful cultivars, like C. australis 'Dark Star' (shown in this planting by Shades of Green Landscape Architecture), have become especially popular in cultivation
