| If you can't locate a vintage form or if vintage styling just isn't your thing, there are lots of newer forms available these days. Tucked in a corner, they look stylish and fun in even the most hip rooms. |

| The old dress form in my guest room wears an embroidered, vintage blouse. The rich blue of the blouse works well with the blue in the comforter, curtains and upholstered pieces in this room.
Do you have an old dress form that you've rescued? Or, do you have a newer version you are using in your decor? I'd love to see it...please share! |
Cally...thanks! Oh, the wedding dress sounds divine. I'd love to see it on a dress form. You have to upload that to houzz when you find one!
Whimages...good score at GW! She looks wonderful in these photos. I love the flowers...what a beautiful addition. What did you paint...was it the base?

Rose...I hope you find one, too. Don't give up...keep your eyes peeled.
StictlySimple...Oh, I LOVE that idea! Excellent suggestion! :)
Laradeanscosta...that sounds pretty cool! I'd love to see a pic of that when you have it done.
Vanna, she's gorgeous! What beautiful clothing...so romantic.
Cosmicgirl...I love that! I learned so much from everyone today...so many great ways to use dress forms.
Here is a pic of my wedding gown on my vintage dress form. I have it in our master suite, or as I like to call it "The Honeymoon Sweet"! I found the dress form at a garage sale for $25.00 and it is just adorable, cast iron legs, and great vintage burlap body with original printing on the front.
What a great topic! Thanks again, Terry:)
Shelly...thanks for the tip. :)
57Quilter...beautiful dress! How wonderful to see it everyday.
