Unexpected Materials: Designing with Rope

I took a quick trip to Palm Springs this weekend and was totally taken by the way The Ace Hotel used ropes in their lobby. The decor of The Ace is an eclectic take on mid-century modern, mixing in their take on some seventies macrame and utilizing the rope throughout the design.
Of course this started me on a hunt for images of how the designers on Houzz had integrated rope into their designs. It reminded me of The Hillside House, a house we featured in our Marin County House Tour Series. The architects utilized rope to add subtle touches of nautical style to the home.
I've found a few other examples, but I'd love your help - if you've spotted any rope around Houzz or if you have any photos to share of your own, please show us in the comments section!

The Hillside House covered their cords in rope as well. I love the dash of casual it adds to the design. It's a brilliant idea when you have an unsightly cord to cover!
