Upon Reflection: Mirrored Furniture
Houzz Contributor. Hi There! I currently live in a 1920s cottage in Atlanta that I'll describe as "collected."
I got into design via Landscape Architecture, which I studied at the University of Virginia. I've been writing about design online for quite a few years over at Hatch: The Design Public Blog.

Whether your sitting around all day asking "who's the fairest of them all?" or not, there's no reason to limit mirrors to the walls. There are all kinds of furniture pieces available in the mirrored version these days. Mirrored furniture adds a healthy portion of glam to any room, and it works with so many styles. Depending on the style of the piece, you can place mirrored pieces in very traditional rooms, Hollywood Regency rooms, and in very contemporary spaces.
These pieces will reflect colors and patterns and light, so take that into consideration when arranging a room with mirrored furniture in it. Use it to your advantage to show off pieces nearby that you want to accentuate.

The marbling effect on this mirror reflects but distorts the furniture a bit, which keeps things interesting!

| There's a nice balanced relationship between the armoire and the composition of mirrors on the wall. |

Erin Lang Norris gorgeous! i've been waiting to find the perfect mirrored table for some time now. i'd love to have them in the bedroom as nightstands and i'd really like to find a taller piece to use as a liquor/bar area. i think that nice liquor bottles displayed on a mirrored piece look so glamorous!
