Magnificent Porch Swings!
I work as a blogger for businesses although I do a variety of different types of writing. I particularly enjoy writing about all aspects of design and creativity. I think that your home should reflect your personality and that it should change as you change. More about me at www.kathrynvercillo.com and http://diaryofasmartchick.com.

There is something absolutely magical about adding a porch swing to your home. It's inviting. It encourages you to sit down, relax and enjoy your surroundings. It is welcoming to others. If I were to create a bed and breakfast, I'd be sure to include a porch swing.
I tend to be drawn to a very classic, simple wooden design when I look at porch swings. However, I do think that there are a lot of other options. There are some in wicker that lean towards a more elaborate country style. There are cleaner lines that are appropriate for a more modern home. Ultimately, I think that the design is important but the comfort of this piece of furniture is even more important. You want this to be a place where you could spend an entire day.

A porch swing that affords you a lovely view is always the best way to go. This one has a great classic design that complements the vertical lines of the fence around the porch. I also love the way that the horizontal lines of the roof and deck contrast with this. Everything about it is gorgeous.

Although I love the classic design of a typical wooden porch swing, I do have to confess that there's something appealing about this pretty wicker porch swing and and outdoor furniture set. Very cozy!
I personally have never seen a porch swing this large in person but love how it looks! What a cozy place to settle in for the day with a book or a glass of wine!
This option seems to combine the idea of a porch swing with the idea of a hammock. I've always loved hammocks so it's definitely appealing. I prefer the rope option to the typical hanging chains of a standard porch swing.
What I love about this porch swing is the color choices. It's inspired by the natural setting but is also creative and fun.

This porch swing definitely makes a statement! Its shape and accessories make it seem like a traditional couch that has been hung outside as a swing!

This modern swing chair is something that I would love to see on an urban porch.

A porch swing that doubles as a bed is a great option. I'd add some more pillows to this one but otherwise think it's great.

The simple addition of a flip-down console makes this porch swing a great modern piece of furniture.

We don't all have the luxury of a porch area with an overhang where we can put a porch swing. This is a great alternative since it replicates the porch swing. It doesn't look super cozy but it does have adjustable back rests so perhaps it is comfortable after all.
