ripplinger aviator cres showhome
Hi Ken. I'd like to do the Aviator showhome in a palette of charcoal and soft greys paired with white trim and pops of varying degrees of yellow throughout the house. I'd like to use a mid tone grey hardwoodwood floor, charcoal island with white cabinets along the perimeter walls in the kitchen. I'd like to use wallpaper in this home, on accent walls and/or in panels with wide, modern trim installed around the wallpaper. With bright hits of colour (like yellow cabinets in the laundry room for a touch of fun) and lots of contrast between darker charcoals and white trim/cabinetry, this home would look fresh but modern. We could add any accent colour to this palette - not just yellow. We could use yellow as the accent in the great room/main areas with hits of fuschia, teal and purple in the bedrooms/bathrooms. Let me know what you think. I am going to begin sourcinging finishes today, beginning by sourcing wallpaper at CKONe Accents (around the corner from you). Maybe you want to meet me there after lunch?
Aviator laundry room could feature soft, fresh yellow cabinetry, similar to the same value of blue shown here! With a charcoal countertop and white subway backsplash tile
love this colour palette - neutral but interesting iwth the pop of lemon
Yellow pops against neutral light grey walls and clean white trim with darker flooring make this an interesting interior that is both relaxing and energetic. Picture this room with a soft yellow ceiling for a pop of colour in the Aviator showhome. Transitional style with clean lines but lots of texture in furniture and accessories.
love this colour palette but prefer a cooler wood floor tone
love the use of wallpaper panels as an accent in a smaller room. You simply trim it out with very small wainscotting trim pieces and it makes the whole room!
I like the softness of this yellow paired with the grey and light blue/aqua.
love the white walls and soft feel
love this colour palette!
Could be the master bedroom - I like the idea of ramping up the grey in the master bedroom and injecting white furniture for contrast. I would add a yellow pillow on the bed to tie in the rest of the house's palette and wallpaper the wall behind the bed in a tone on tone charcoal wallpaper as seen in another photo below.
love the soft yellow island with grey countertop, mixed with the charcoal lacquered cabinetry along the perimeter wall. We could do the same in the aviator showhome for a soft but contemporary look. I like the light hardwood paired with this palette, do you?
White cabinetry on perimeter walls, charcoal island and yellow walls in the kitchen
Oh how soft and pretty this room is! One of the secondary kids bedrooms could be done in this softer palette. Soft yellow walls, white furniture, and light grey and white bedding with a yellow pillow
Love the area rug! in the living room
love the use of coloured pendants over the counter area! We could do something similar over the island if the rest of the cabinetry were charcoal and white
My yellow ceiling idea for the dining room/living room ceiling area - the actual colour in this photo is too strong for me, but a softer yellow would be fabulous! Understated but noticeable for a happy, fresh feel.
Love the wide trim on the walls - a more contemporary approach to wainscotted wall panels! And the textured elements hung inside the panels are fabulous! We could do something similar in the open stairwell leading up to the bonus room, or on the 2nd floor wall opposite the bathroom, with wallcovering inside the panelled trim. Nix the art niche and simply add a wide trim and wallpaper with a shapely mirror mounted overtop of the wallpaper.
love the brightly coloured yellow exterior door! We could paint the interior of the front entry door bright yellow as a fun accent/focal point in the foyer.
love the use of wallcovering - would be great in the master bedroom... and the stronger grey charcoal behind a fresh bedding ensemble...
great bathroom finishes to echo the colour palette elsewhere. I like that wide white trim installed above the mosaic tile to act as a chair rail... more modern with less profile than a standard chair rail.
I love the idea of a two toned deck or porch...
Love the softness of the room in contrast to the sharpness of the accessories on the coffee table! Great use of tension in this room!
love the high contrast and touch of yellow in the artwork
easy to create these artwork images - and very impactful when mounted together. We could stack 2 sets of 3 frames vertically in the dining room flanking the center window. Would look great!
love this bathroom with striped, stronger shower curtain and understated yellow accessories. Classic But Modern
I like the limey yellow glass backsplash tile paired with the white cabinets and stainless steel accents
