I think it is a good idea to install a "plant climber" in front of the house. During the winter, it provides an interesting architectural feature to look at. In the summer, whatever you grow upon it will stand out from the rest.
I love this yard. The walkways, the stone borders. It all seems so natural and simple, yet tidy and thoroughly planned.
This a good way to get more square footage from concrete tiles in a backyard setting.
Beautiful garden boxes. When they are coordinated with the house's features, they look classy... So does the house.
This is a clever way to recycle and old window frame.
This is a nice way to make sure you "visit" those far away corners of the back yard.
I loooove how this siding looks. I wonder how they achieved the finish?
This flooring looks home-doable... I wonder how it's made...
For the west side if the house...
I want to replace my entrance pavers with cinder blocs filled with grass to help drain out melting snow in spring.
Could get inspired by this for the west side of the house.
I can see my house looking like this (sigh)
This could be a DIY project.
