love the stone walls
wood against siding, (plus "arbor" for ceiling) as well as the flat, slate-looking floor.
half brick ( or stone ) and half column. Would imagine it saves on overall project costs
column look bordering entire patio
can't do due to 2-story "wall of windows" but I do like this very clean look !!
"philadelphia -fence" ceiling , arched to accomodate a bigger fan.
long covered ceiling along most of the back house area
similar to ours if we wood floor the great room !!!!
wood ceiling with recessed lighting
can use vines throughout arbor
steps down to lower level, landscaped simply with trees or hedges
stone surround fence
stone & stucco fence
beautiful arbor ceiling
interesting to see fireplace off, away from eating area
old-stone fireplace look
building high enough border walls to enable landscaping both within - for a garden type look
grill/kitchenette up against outside wall - also, columns and outside border wall seperating patio from lawn
can add an outside granite-topped bar with barstools as part of eating area
stone column as base for wood/plaster column
the fountain - we need to showcase our fountain even moreso than just positioning in the middle of wall of windows
BOTH a fireplace and a fountain/water area within high-walled bordered patio
just interesting in general - probably not applicable to our backyard setting
absolutely beautiful - could be a definite for our east wall that faces the woods behind our master bath
LOVE the stone for the steps , wall and floor - DON'T like the small area ( looks like an afterthought !!)
incorporates a planting bed at the top of stone/stucco wall border !!!!!!!! neat idea
would "poured cement" look compliment our stamped concrete ????????
incorporates tree(s) into patio area - We certainly need a few trees to help landscape the back yard immediately behind the house
just considering the architectural shape of the patio design
beautiful but not relevant to our back yard space
rounded ceiling over a rounded poured patio floor ?? Would look symetrically balanced !!
adding a gate door ( alone, wouldn't need multiple sections) to a STONE border would be beautiful as the OUTSIDE "entrance" to the patio area - even perhaps at the end of a stone walk !!!!!!!!!!!
2-3 levels of circular stone step-downs off of a circular patio ?? Probably cannot do this in conjunction with a staight windowed-wall !!
