Iyare I I love the idea of a fireplace in the bedroom, unfortunately, my house didnt come with a bedroom fireplace so I went ahead and purchased an electric fireplace. It gives me the look without paying a lot for a restructure. I would love to see an article about electric fireplaces... That'd be awesome :)

CAROLE MEYER A bedroom fireplace adds so much warmth and romance to a room......that extra cozy factor! The photos below are of a guest bedroom...and the fireplace should have been on for the photo....but I must have been feeling lazy when I took this photo!

matbooks Wondering why so many builders/designers put a fireplace down on the floor and on an adjacent wall rather than opposite the bed. In my bedroom, I'd like to be able to sit on hearth and talk as well as see the fire from the bed.
