dining room by Tina Clarke
The dining room was staged using rental furniture and my accessories. It's important to set a table in the dining room, demonstrating to a potential buyer the look and feel of this room. The chandelier was replaced with something more updated.

You should have seen the before picture of this bathroom. The walls were painted white with dark green sponged on top! It was like a decorating experiment gone wrong. Simply neutral paint cleans up this space making it attractive to potential home buyers and ready to move in.

The inspiration for this basement bar was the Art Deco bars of South Beach. The bar and wall were painted white. The bar top was covered by acrylic floor tile imitating stone. White curtains were added to the wall on the right to lighten up the space and cover the dark wood paneled walls. Guess what the stools were covered with? Shower caps. Yes!
traditional family room by Tina Clarke
I helped redesign this room for a client. All of the items and furniture she already owned, except for the artwork. She had very little artwork in her home and I helped with selecting artwork that matched her design style. The challenge of this room was its size, directly behind the sofa is a stair rail. The client was worried that the sofa was too large for the room but it actually fits the space nicely and provides plenty of seating.
contemporary living room by Tina Clarke
This small living room is located in a 1950s ranch home. The furniture is small in scale and therefore fits the room well. When working with a small room it's important that the sofa has small arms and does not take up unnecessary space.
contemporary bedroom by Tina Clarke
This home was for sale and vacant. The master bedroom was staged with very few items but gives the buyer an idea of what the room would look liked furnished: artwork, inflatable bed, small night stand and lamp. The curtains were the owner's.
traditional kitchen by Tina Clarke
This is simple staging of a traditional kitchen. Many cookbooks were removed from the bookshelf to show a more uncluttered look. All items were removed from the counters and the owner's flowers and vase add color.

A little greenery goes a long way when staging an outdoor space. The plants were added for color and life. As a home buyer, can't you imagine sitting at the table and drinking hot tea enjoying your view?

This is a great example of home staging. This room used to be a cluttered office. The office was removed and in its place a serene and wonderful place to sit. All the items were already owned by the client.

I love the curtains. I used a similar idea to cover up the wood panels in my basement.
