entry door ideas
With all the glass you have at your entry, I am creating an idea book just to contemplate frosting the glass - still brings in light, gives privacy, feels contemporary and updated. Just playing with this idea which might not be what we ultimately decide.
With this potential idea, I am not saying we would replace your doors or any of the glass. There are companies and products that we could use to get this effect. I also like the horizontal pieces to the right and left of the entry door that break that up and add "architecture" and interest.
Here is what the interior looks like of that entry set of doors flanked with windows.
This is a rain glass but it gives you an idea of the privacy and interest that comes with changing the glass a little bit.
This picture has frosted glass at what appear to be an entry door as well as frosted glass on the opposite wall on the closet doors
Here is the inside view of the door I just added to the idea book
Wow, interesting. Here they just added the frosted glass to the upper 2/3 of the door.
I really like the wall sconces in this picture. I also just love the look of the room overall.
This is interesting. I kind of like the pattern.
This might be far-fetched but I'm just throwing things out there. What about some kind of sheer curtains that gather somehow so it's not just a "wall" of curtain?
Gives an idea of what it would look like with just the side windows frosted and not the doors.
If we go with frosted glass it seems like it would look similar to this which looks too plain to me.
Kind of similar to what we talked about with the greenery in front of the glass. I like the glass in this picture.
This is another photo with curtains. It may be way too old-fashioned but it's worth a consideration (or it might get us thinking in another direction).
This doesn't really have a frosted look but it does add privacy. I like it.
I like the way this glass looks like water. It reminds me of a beachy feel.
