I recently purchased a round love seat for my home. Now I notice circular seating everywhere I go - and I love it!
My favorite option is the fully round sofa or love seat. It's great for cuddling. It adds a terrific statement piece to the home. It's a cool design.
However, a semi-circular sofa can be a good option as well. It adds some curved design to a space without taking up as much room as a totally round sofa.
Additionally, the semi-circular sofa is highly functional. It can curve around a table or fire pit so everyone can be close to the item. It can curve within a bay window or curved niche in the wall.
What do you think about round sofas and their semi-circular counterparts?

| Here is another take on that same idea. The backrest is narrow enough to allow people to sit on all sides of the sofa and lean against it. I love the color choice for this room. |
This semi-circular sofa is the perfect shape and height for the bay window. The color scheme isn't my top choice but I definitely appreciate how well it blends with the nature outside of the window.

Semi-circular built-in seating works outdoors in a gazebo area as well. The color choice here is stunning! And the fire pit in the center can be enjoyed by everyone since the seating curves around it.

I love dining areas that are combined with niches for comfortable dining. It's unusual to see this in semi-circular fashion but it makes so much sense with a round table in the center!

Here we see another example of the curved sofa for dining table seating. This works for living area seating as well - great for families that play board games together. The semi-circle shape is a bit subtler here than in some of the other options.

This great large ottoman can serve as additional seating in the center of this living space. That's a great way to go if you enjoy the round shape but don't have room for a full round sofa.
