The pennant light is the style I'm considering for my 1941 bungalow remodel.
Pegboard for pans & lids - also using the bright color to make them like a work of art - very clever & utilitarian!
Open shelving around a window
Becoming more convinced the kitchen/laundry is the way to go and this is a very attractive example.
Stacking washer-dryer in a closet, yet essentially in the kitchen.
Shows how laundry can go into kitchen cabinet and look great.
Openess & clean lines - nothing around the sides of the hood make it look modern without using all modern style appliances & finishes.
Beautiful wood work & well-designed. This is the way to economize - not living in a big, but shabby and/or poorly built house. Also this would be a great guest house rather than living in a bigger house where you'd be heating and cooling guest space you don't regularly use.
Black hood - good alternative to chimney hood - looks nice with no cabinet over it and shelf beneath. Also placement of the microwave.
More of the tiny house
Example of high quality outdoor shower.
Example of under cab hood and how to make it look as good as a chimney.

Caribbean Blend Random Linear Mosaic Tile
Colors and the type of tile might be good for a sort of retro look.
Villanueva Talavera Mexican Tile - $1.55
Might be too ornate, but I like the colors
Example of painting the ceiling to make a room look larger.
Love the light and numbers
The dark wood floor with the modern kitchen
I like use of the blue paint and it's very similar to what I already chose for our kitchen remodel - thinking about using this idea on our soffit too and possibly painting our structural post the same color - rather than going with white which seems to be more common.
Arched entry soffit to kitchen, colors & the wood all look great.
The barstools are unexpected and very cool.
